TOUR DESCRIPTION
Your day will start with being picked up at your accommodation by vehicle. We will then make our way to the start of our hike near Uçhisar. First, we will walk through White Valley where your guide will explain the history and geology of the area. You can even try local fruits and plants when in season!
As we make our way down, we will slowly enter Love Valley to explore its uniquely shaped fairy chimneys. After a refreshment stop, we will visit a special cave furnished with beds that can still be used today, giving you a clear idea of how people lived in these caves.
Next, we move to Red and Rose Valleys to explore many cave houses and pigeon houses. A particular highlight is visiting two churches in these valleys that are very well preserved. Lunch will be served during a longer break, allowing you to enjoy the food and the spectacular views from the cafe.
The hike will finish in the heart of Cappadocia, Çavuşin (the oldest village), with its imposing castle ruin and 5th-century church with frescoes.
