TOUR DESCRIPTION

Departure time is between 09:00-09:10 from your hotel for the Zemi Valley entrance (a short 15-minute drive). This 16 km long hiking trail features the unique geological beauty of Cappadocia, offering a fulfilling 6-7 hours of walking.

Our journey begins in Zemi Valley (Green Valley), continues through Görkündere Valley and Göreme Pigeon Valley, and finally ascends to the rocky peak of Uçhisar (1350 meters above sea level).

During the hike, you will be immersed in nature, passing by various fruit trees, lush vines, and pumpkins cultivated specifically for their seeds. You will also discover hidden rock churches along the valley and marvel at typical geological formations.

WHY “GREEN VALLEY”?
The fact that there are cultivated areas and gardens extending for 6 km along the route is the reason why Zemi is locally called the “Green Valley”.
